James, thanks so much for being with us so that we can honor you and many other important global audiences. We want to honor all of those that work in travel around the world, including Tourism Bureaus, Luxury Hotels, Hotels, and Cruise Lines. James’ business has been severely impacted by the major decline in travelers in the past 4 months. And now we have the combined impact of major challenges: First, the Corona Virus with so many deaths and the medical impact for the whole world, secondly, the major Economic Impact with huge unemployment numbers and increased poverty. Both of these are extremely important issues that have global impact.

And the whole world is reeling from the senseless brutality inflicted on fellow American, George Floyd.

Each of us can take a firm stance in the way we respond to the global issues.

Today, I would like to look at the travel industry and consider how you and your colleagues are continuing to find hope.

The Impact of Water in My Life

Cleary water has had a significant impact on me. 

Here are three important ways I have experienced water in my life:

When I was a child of 12, finding a mountain spring when we were building our home in Northern Michigan and testing the water to find out that the pure water has been in the hillside for over 15,000 years.

When I was 17, traveling to Southern Germany and swimming in a mineral lake when the water was the color of root beer and I could not see my hand when I dipped it into the water.

 When I was 45 and traveled to the Iguazu Waterfalls in Argentina, spending two days to visit the falls which come down in 250 locations over several square miles. I went by helicopter, by boat, and by hiking.
